This policy covers TG Library, its Android app, Web App and website, operated by Birm Infotech, Mathaniya, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. Privacy contact: [email protected] · +91 88540 85408.
1. Information handled
Account and library information may include your name, mobile number, email, login credentials, verification/library code, library details and profile images. Library owners and authorised managers can enter student names, contact details, date of birth, gender, parent information, address, education details, registration and membership dates, photos and identity proof files/numbers. These records are used for library management.
Operational data includes plans, seats, shifts, enquiries, fee/invoice records, Cash/UPI payment information, expenses, reminders, subscription transactions and manager permissions. Notification tokens and relevant server logs such as request times, IP addresses and errors may be processed to deliver notifications, operate the service and investigate faults or misuse.
2. Why we use it
We use data to authenticate users, maintain library records, allocate seats, track fees and renewals, calculate summaries, deliver selected notifications/reminders, process App Pro subscriptions and respond to support or privacy requests. Owners must have an appropriate basis to enter student data and must respect students’ privacy.
3. Permissions
Camera and selected photos/files are used when you choose to upload images or identity documents. Notification permission is used for app notifications. Older Android versions may request storage permissions for uploads or downloaded documents. You can manage permissions in device settings; related features may stop working when permission is denied.
4. Service providers and sharing
Hosting/database providers process app records to run the service. Google Firebase Cloud Messaging processes notification tokens and delivery information. Razorpay processes subscription payments and related transaction information. If configured, messaging providers such as BotBiz/WhatsApp process recipient details and message content for service messages. Opening or sharing content with WhatsApp, email or other external apps is subject to those services’ policies.
Full card credentials are handled by the payment provider, rather than entered into TG Library’s own forms. Authorised library managers may access records according to their permissions. Data may also be disclosed when required by law or to investigate abuse. This version has no advertising integration.
5. Website and browser storage
The public website does not install advertising or analytics cookies. The Web App may store authentication and preference information in your browser to maintain sessions and appearance. Server access logs may still be recorded by the host. External links are subject to the destination’s practices.
6. Security
The service is configured to use HTTPS. Access credentials and role permissions help restrict account access. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your password and devices, limit manager access and do not send passwords or OTPs to support.
7. Retention and deletion
Account and library records are retained while the service is used and until a verified deletion request is processed. Ask us about the retention period applicable to your records before submitting sensitive information. Transaction, security or dispute records may need to be retained where a legal obligation or legitimate fraud-prevention need applies; we will explain relevant exceptions when handling your request. Backup copies may remain until the applicable backup cycle expires and must not be restored into active use after deletion.
Request deletion of your account and its associated data, or specific data only, through our deletion page or the app’s More → Account / Data Deletion link. We verify account ownership before carrying out a request and explain any retention exceptions. Removing a founder profile alone is not the same as deleting the complete account and its associated records.
8. Your choices and student requests
You can request access, correction or deletion using the privacy contact above. Students whose information was entered by a library can contact that library or us with enough information to identify the record. Avoid attaching identity documents to an initial email; we will request only the verification information needed.
9. Children and updates
TG Library is intended for library owners and authorised operators. If student records relate to minors, the library must obtain appropriate permission and safeguard their information. We may update this policy when the service changes and will show the revised date on this page.
